Our History

Cardinal Wireless has been in the Wireless For Work business for more than 25 years—well before every family in America had inexpensive cell phones. We were founded in 1980 as Cardinal Two-Way Radio Communications, Inc., specializing in efficient, cost-effective services for business and industry. From there we grew to become a major radio and wireless equipment dealer, service center, and airtime supplier serving the Central Indiana market, and have focused our efforts on providing high-quality UHF/VHF trunking, Digital or Analog and conventional radio communications, GPS systems, and accessory equipment..

Today, Cardinal Wireless owns one and operates three radio trunking systems—two in Indianapolis and two in Noblesville—that provide monthly airtime service to our radio and GPS customers. We also operate an in-house service subsidiary, Communications Servicing, Inc., with a full staff of expert technicians who handle repairs for all major brands of two-way radios.
